I'll dominate 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
